Salamanca

Jamones
While I studied in Salamanca, Spain this summer I learned that cured ham is a delicacy. I was nervous at first, but it quickly became one of my favorite foods! It is sold by the leg in specialty stores as well as in supermarkets(seen above).
Whether you traveled near or far I am sure you learned something new this summer. Write me a post saying where you went and what you learned. I can’t wait to read all about it!!

HOLA!!! Over the summer I went to Spain, Italy, and France. I saw the Sistine Chapel which I learned that the whole inside of the building was painted my Michelangelo. Also, when he painted the ceiling the paint kept dripping in his eyes so at the end of the 4 year project he became blind. The art was so amazing. In Barcelona my family and I saw a beautiful fountain one night that would change to different colors. But the one thing I really learned was pit-pocketers are like everywhere! I thought it was worse than new york. Anyway, my vacation was fun. Wow i can’t believe I have time to write this much.
Well, Adios!!!!!!
